ebinmaine 67,626 #2 Posted April 19, 2021 Maine and New Hampshire got a whole bunch of high altitude snow the other day. My house at 540 ft got just a slight covering. A mile up the road there was several inches at 1,500 ft elevation. Microclimates are very interesting to me. See that a heck of a lot here in Southern Maine where there's so much variance in terrain even within just a few hundred feet. This morning I get into my work truck and the windshield is quite well frosted. Truck thermometer States 35. Phone 🌡️ States 40. Both clearly wrong.
