Put a battery in and it did wake up a little, didn't push it because I hadn't cleaned it up. C-160 Auto been getting the bugs out. Just for general information,but selected ears. Jeff-C175 7,202 #8 Posted April 19, 2021 (edited) TWINS! I'm pretty much finished with mine too! Need second coat of paint on the covers, but other than that, ready to mow. Oh... and I've got new labels coming from Terry soon. Mine didn't look NEARLY as bad as yours though! The top of the deck sheet metal was 'bowed down' between the pulleys and I wasn't successful in attempts to straighten it so I opted for four more carriage bolts to pull it up. The idler bar was riding low and the idler pulley very close to the reinforcing sub-chassis. Those four bolts pulled everything "up tight and outta sight". I love yard sales, one man's junk is another man's treasure. I had read of an estate sale for the upcoming weekend. Estate sales are really good for very nice items. I've recently striped a 42" down for rebuild, I've been trying to decide if I leave the new hardware the natural color or paint the parts once, assemble and paint a second time.
