My ears aren't ringing, the C-141 is now in my yard just in case I forget to mention it. Put a battery in and it did wake up a little, didn't push it because I hadn't cleaned it up. C-160 Auto been getting the bugs out. Just for general information, but selected ears.

That deck sure looks like junk to me. I can't believe you put me red paint on it.  Looks like you might have even wasted some welding rods on it.  You better send it to me before the neighbors see it!:ychain:

TWINS!  I'm pretty much finished with mine too!  Need second coat of paint on the covers, but other than that, ready to mow.

Oh... and I've got new labels coming from Terry soon.

Mine didn't look NEARLY as bad as yours though!

The top of the deck sheet metal was 'bowed down' between the pulleys and I wasn't successful in attempts to straighten it so I opted for four more carriage bolts to pull it up.

The idler bar was riding low and the idler pulley very close to the reinforcing sub-chassis.  Those four bolts pulled everything "up tight and outta sight".

Mine had a twist in it , was able to persuade it to play nice. BMFH and a torch, made a jig to hold and help twist back.:USA:  if you look close at all the dents, looks like PO was mowing rocks.

Mkay, I'll jump on this, I'm a collector, mostly coins and currency and foreign coins. I collect other items as well. I love yard sales, one man's junk is another man's treasure. I had read of an estate sale for the upcoming weekend. Estate sales are really good for very nice items.

Nice work!

I've recently striped a 42" down for rebuild, I've been trying to decide if I leave the new hardware the natural color or

paint the parts once, assemble and paint a second time.

These pics are really helpful.

They are extremely interesting, as are "neighborhood" tag/garage/lawn sales ("jumble sales" to our UK friends) -- though I've never seen a garage, lawn, or tag actually for sale at any of them.

That said, until I see an advert for an estate sale featuring a "space enlarger" or "stuff size reducer", or that takes "trade ins", I have sworn them off.

...The woman's grandfather was a coin collector as well and it was his stuff she was selling. The sale started at 9:00 am Saturday morning, I was there at 9:01 am. I will spare you the long story, In summary, I purchased four and a half crates filled with coin books and coin boxes for . . .  $200. Are you a fan of good deals?
