Same here.  I think they hire individuals to toss them out of their cars.  Last year it looked like a college kid.  They leave one in a bag on the ground at the base of each mailbox. I'd bet that almost NONE of them ever come out of the bag and go directly into the recycle bin.  What a waste.

 

Oh ... almost forgot... About a month later an email comes asking if I received my phone book!  I answer yes I did, and please stop LITTERING!

Local news paper is the same way here. They give a free copy once a week, which ends up somewhere in the yard or in the puddle of water that collects at the end of the driveway. 

 

Every week I have to pick up a soggy wad off paper and toss it. Can't get them to stop for the life of me.
