Bottom of tranny. You need  a 1/4" Allen wrench.  Make sure you clean the crud out of the hole first

REAL slow. The first two or three or almost four quarts go in easy. After that, the level gets close to the bottom of the dipstick tube and the air has trouble getting out. If that happens, it "burps" oil all over as an air bubble comes up the tube. Be ready with cardboard, newspapers, or some other protection under the tractor.

Did this just last weekend and put the last two quarts in with a funnel going into a ¼" tub that I put down the dipstick hole. Propped up the funnel and every 10 minutes or so I put another 8 oz in the funnel then when off to do other tasks. Only two burps.

Haha! I sure did!!

I even jacked up the front to get the last drops out.

Filling it back up was a challenge, though. Kept burping and my “extension tube” piece of rolled up paper didn’t work so great. Going to add the last three quarts tomorrow. Kitty litter all over my driveway. Lol

And do NOT get directly over the funnel to look down inside to see what the hold up is!  At the exact moment that you do it will 'burp' and regurgitate a blob of oil right into your eye!  Don't ask how I know this!
