Oh!  and it's got the tool box...and the right seat.  See the tool box??  Now that is rare.  :occasion-xmas:  If that piece of junk at the top of this thread is worth $1200, what do you think mine is worth...both have original paint.  Give me a break, mine has the correct engine and runs.  The one at the top is a roller.  Unbelievable!!!  One more thing...502's are not rare.  Original ones are getting to be.

Calling something someone put a lot of effort into a piece of junk seems a little harsh, no? I would be happy to own it, or be proud to have had the talent to build it.

OK, Mike, would you pay $1200 for it???  That is the point here.  In my opinion, not one of you guys would even think about that much money for that roller.  Go ahead and buy it and bring it to the Big Show...the Raffle Tractor will be worth more and get more looks.  What is this...April 1st all week.  This thing should not have even been posted on this site once the price was mentioned.

I stated what I’d pay, half of the asking price.  I’m not looking right now, but if I were I’d inquire.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Is somebody angry?  Where?

I dont think anyone agreed with the price?

I'm not sure I'd even go that high for a late model 520H with low hours!

Well Kevin, at least you are honest.  I was going to suggest that Mike pay the $1200 and one of the guys in the 1st 8 posts of this thread might give him $1400 for bringing it to the show.  :occasion-xmas:  Would you really pay that, when a C-125 with attachments can go for the same price ($600)...and it has an engine that runs??  Come on...really???  Tell me you could get $600 when you sold it, so you could break even...minus what you spent to pick it up.  You guys are crazy...too many days at home from Covid-19.  We need some shows to bring back reality.  Are the stimulus checks burning a hole in your pockets??  Did you guys store up and been eating too much Spam??  You guys are obviously not short of toilet paper yet.  :confusion-confused:

Because I like it, I sure would.  :handgestures-thumbupright:  It’s not about the value of the tractor on this one, it’s the story behind that rolling stock.  They look old enough, they were built before they were cool.  It’s not something you can get at the farm store or online as far as I know.

You guys have been watching way too much American Pickers.  You could buy the Paper-Mache Ostrich for $200 and the size 28 clown shoes for $100 :occasion-clown:, and the Dentist Chair for $75, and the transistor pocket radio for $50, Oh, and you might as well buy a box of snicker's bars for $50.  OH!! and don't for get the rocking chair made out of wrenches and springs...got to be worth a small fortune.  :banana-linedance:Gosh, maybe there is an old coat from some guy that used to jump Honda 50's.

I never said $1200 was fair, I just said I liked it. It's a starting point. It's a free country to ask what you want for a tractor. I don't want to make anyone mad, I just felt bad for the guy that built it. I'm going to be quiet now and try not to ruffle feathers anymore.

Come on guys.  then you probably have owned ...or a mini-van, and you ended up putting that much in it before you figured it out.  :orcs-cheers:

I would say OUCH!  but after the 4th factory transmission failed in a very short time they finally agreed to a full refund.  It had to be the wiring harness causing the electronic valves to fail.

Come on guys.  If the rubber being used a spokes is not even length all the way around, the outside rims are not going to be centered with the hub, and that rubber is not going to give...see the threads in it??  If that is worth $1200 to you, then you probably have owned a Ford Pinto...or a "K" car...or a mini-van, and you ended up putting that much in it before you figured it out.  It is a parts tractor at best, and the parts would look best on a 702.  Take those wheels off and hang them on your barn...make a wind mill out of them...plant flowers in them in the garden...put them on your D-200 and go creek jumping.

You could donate that money to Red Square and start paying the Admins???  :orcs-cheers:

The rear wheels are all steel that is expended metal welded between the two rings it is the rest of the construction that rough.  You left out Chevy Shevette, did you buy one?

Chevette's were awesome. I had a customer who used his 76 as a construction site vehicle. He put over 260,000 on that baby!

Had a friend with one... and another with a Vega.  They used to drag race each other.  Whichever one didn't break down won.

My brother had a Vega with a 350 in it.  Broke the frame.  But it was fast!

We had a "Vette" Scooter as a parts runner. Cardboard door panels the works. We used to stop light drag race it on the noon parts run in the city of Canandaigua :hilarious:
