dkg520 509 #1 Posted April 3, 2021 Today I had the opportunity to walk around 10 acres of a mostly Wheel Horse and John Deere tractors. My guess is there was 50 to 70 Wheel Horses with countless numbers of snow plows and mowing decks. There was a 520-8, many 520-H,and quite a few 417’s. Nothing I was told ran and many had been there for years. I bought a few things and was told to come back anytime. Snapped a few photos. 4 6

Retired Wrencher 5,465 #11 Posted April 4, 2021 (edited) I hope some one puts all this to good use to the fine tractors. I do not understand why some does this. Edited April 4, 2021 by Retierd Wrencher

rjg854 11,387 #13 Posted April 4, 2021 Let @A-Z Tractor know where this place is, maybe he can pull a lot of that out of there and get it back into circulation.
cod 120 #14 Posted April 4, 2021 Wow! Neat find and thanks for posting. My father used to scrap old cars and I was always fascinated with junk yards and history they contained. As Dennis mentioned, I'd wander around all day in a daze...

Tuneup 1,433 #19 Posted April 4, 2021 Wheel Horse pergatory. Waiting until someone comes along to save them from the wet, cold ground. Mine looked a lot worse than a number of those and were resurrected to service. That C-125 is lovely. Well, there, a Sunday message tied to WH...

dkg520 509 #21 Posted April 4, 2021 He was reluctant to let go of much. I did buy the snow plow that’s standing in the photo. I’m negotiating for the 520-8 but not having much luck.

ebinmaine 67,619 #24 Posted April 4, 2021 Nothing wrong with snakes long as you don't get bit by a venomous one. They're a HUGE help with the rodent overpopulation. We don't have anywhere near enough.
dkg520 509 #25 Posted April 8, 2021 He has decided to sell me the 520-8 for $300. I have a 520-8 now. Do I really need another one?
