Moohampshire 1 #1 Posted April 3, 2021 I am rebuilding my deck for a 1977 C-160 Tractor. I am looking for the brackets on the front that hold the rollers as it has broken off. Does anyone know where I can get new ones to weld on. In Pics you can see missing one and the good one Thanks
Jeff-C175 7,202 #2 Posted April 3, 2021 I've never seen the bracket sold as a replacement part, you'll probably have to fabricate something. The rollers are readily available. As for a shop to do small welding jobs... Good luck finding one. I've had ZERO luck here in NJ. None I've contacted will do small jobs. Ridiculous. I'm buying a welder myself.
squonk 41,164 #3 Posted April 3, 2021 Probably going to have to find a scrap deck. As for welding it, check with a local golf course maintenance shop. Those guys saw off stuff all the time and have to get stuff fixed. (I worked at a course 2 summers) They may have a guy there that will do it or know somebody. 1
Jeff-C175 7,202 #4 Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) That broken one appears to have been repaired once already. Looks like the quality of welding I might do! You might be able to find the pin and spring holding bracket as a spare part. Edited April 3, 2021 by Jeff-C175
roadapples 6,983 #5 Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) If you could find one off a junk deck, you could drill 2 holes and bolt it on.. And Edited April 3, 2021 by roadapples 2
