Putting together a 48" deck and my question is to use blue loctite or never seize on mounting bolts.:confusion-scratchheadblue:

I just took mine apart yesterday and it appears the factory used blue loctite.

How often do the bolts need to come out?  Every 40 years?  Why use anti-seize?

Even after 40 years, they came out with no trouble.

You don't want them loosening.  I vote for loctite.

I use NoAlOx for any connections involving aluminum and any dissimilar metal. Ask your friendly local electrician for a dab of it or go to any building supply store electrical department.
