@Horse Newbie the boys are doing fine!  Bruno’s been outside a couple times since we got home already and is unusually vocal tonight.  
 

Unfortunately, we ran out of propane while we were gone and the house is 49 degrees.  The girls lost one hamster to the cold and the other one is barely hanging on.  Yeah, just hamsters… but they purchased them and care for them alike.   The wood boiler is roaring and we’re up to 51 in the house already..  it’s gonna be a long night feeding the fire and getting things all back up to temp..

Aww man, I am so sorry to hear about the little hamsters… yeah they may be hamsters, but I have a soft spot for all animals… especially the ones who depend on us for everything. 
Also please tell your Marine hero that I said “ Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our great country “.

Thanks for the mouse sized condolences.  Jada had a robo dwarf smaller than a mouse.  She stunk dead.  Rylee’s “Fat Bob” is a huge girl.  She was warmed back to breathing motions by hand contact, then by 4am was eating a bit and drinking some.  Today, her eyes opened back up, she’s active on her wheel, seems to be a bit hazy eyed but I’m thinking she’ll be fine by night time.  Lynx has been aggressively pulling at the back of his wrapping, moving his arm quite heavily.  We just unwrapped him and he’s actively cleaning himself.

You know how assume means an a$$ of you and me… well I assumed if we turn the furnace down for a week everything would be fine.  Didn’t want to burden people to toss wood on for a couple cats.  I didn’t know they were fair weather mice.

In your defense Kev I just read several articles on them and nowhere in any of them did they say anything about not doing well in the cold. 

 

Update here fellas he didn't run out of LP so he's not totally stupid ...... furnace issues .... sorting it out now.

Denali ended up having one pup that was unfortunately still born.

She has been a little mopey but is startin to bounce back. 

 

Also have had a few pet additions recently, and can use some updated photos of the pups, so ill work on getting those up soon.

Funny you should say that 3D.... other day I went to a property and a sign by the front door said "This property protected by the Lord, a German Shepard and a gun. You proceed you might meet all three" Sure it was a joke of course but the guy did have some shepherds.

This is my middle sons wife’s trained security dog. He scored very high in Attack Dog competitions. If she’s commanding him in either of the two foreign languages he’s trained in, your in big trouble.  The day before their wedding the groomsmen took turns putting on the padded training suit and “playing” with him. Their upper arms and calves were black and blue the next day from the pressure his jaws could exert even through the thick padding

But he’s also as gentle and unbelievable affectionate to the point of being a pest sometimes

 

This is Josey my youngest sons dog. She was rescued from a shelter and was very standoffish for a while but now is a great big cuddle toy
 

This was our dog Shelby. As you can see she loved when the grandkids visited. At 14 she had several old age health problems and left us about two weeks ago.  She was our squirrel chaser. She amazingly chaser a squirrel her last morning.
