Achto 27,571 #6 Posted April 1, 2021 (edited) @jabelman hit it on the head. Definitely a Gibson model D. Made in Seattle Washington and Longmont Colorado. Ours has these locations cast into the rear axle housing. It should have a Wisconsin engine on it. Although gray with red wheels is the most common, color was not really a set in stone fact on a Gibson. The one that my family has is green with yellow wheels. I've also seen yellow with red wheels and yellow with blue wheels. The type of wheels used also varied, not so much by year but more on what they happened to use that day. Can't seem to find a picture of ours but here an example of one. Found a pic of the axle casting. Edited April 1, 2021 by Achto
