ebinmaine 67,188 #3 Posted March 30, 2021 Cool chipper. I have one here I'll be putting on a C160. Being a non Wheelhorse implement it may be a measure to fit...
ebinmaine 67,188 #4 Posted March 30, 2021 I'd love to see close-ups of the bracket system.
seuadr 488 #5 Posted March 30, 2021 @gwest_ca thanks for the link, unfortunately the belt is listed as "belt" no size :/ it came with a 78" belt but that isn't long enough, i am assuming because the 520H is longer. @ebinmaine i can get some tomorrow. it matches up to holes that were already in the wheelhorse frame and has a couple spacers to make it tight to the frame it is pretty simple. big problem i need to figure out is the front set of bolts are between the steering and the front tach-a-matic point and i can only get a couple fingers in there to hold a bolt, and there isn't enough room to feed a bolt in backwards so that it sticks out of the frame towards the tire cause you can't get a straight shot. not really sure what to do with it, may have to take the axle off so there is clearance and put a threaded stud in or something. 1
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,026 #6 Posted March 31, 2021 Click on the picture in the link. Lane Ranger made a call to them and I posted the info on the file description page. There are three belts there MacKissic Number Belt # / Regular Belt Size 506-0003 / 4L-780 030-0073 / 4L-810 030-0126 / 4L-840 These are all 1/2 wide 5/16th deep. The drawing shows a 3/8" rod threaded on both ends. The flat washers listed are 5/16 so must be USS and 3/8" nuts. 2

THANKS. no problem. you can see in the picture that it is angled down, i don't know if that was intended for operation or if it is just because my front bolts are only finger tight because i can't get in there.

I feel like mine is a little different than that but it may be older. Same basic look. Mine is closer to the hood, the extra space would be welcome haha. I know mine uses an 80" belt but that's on an 1968 Electro.

You could use a treaded rod to go all the way trough. Edited April 7, 2021 by Lee1977
seuadr 488 #16 Posted April 14, 2021 so, just occurred to me, i need to check and see if this clears the mule drive - if it does, i could leave this on all the time and use it as a weight rack the rest of the time! (until it was time for snow blowing..)

Normally I use USPS just because of ease. We also get FedEx and UPS here at the house if either one of them is easier for you... I'll PM you my address. I'd be every kind of happy and then some to get a hold of that!

Garry I assume, i have the tractor running at ~ 2500 rpm and the pully in the chipper is about the same diameter so
