JAinVA 4,619 #1 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) A few mornings back I noticed water on the floor near the toilet. I soaked it up and mentioned it to the missus. Packing gland at the valve was tightened and it was monitored for the next 2 days with no luck.. Ferruie fitting at the tank was tightened and leak stopped. The kicker is I didn't do any of that.. The missus took care of it all. Man have I got a gem! Edited March 29, 2021 by JAinVA 6 5

I've had it happen when I wasn't home. Hope that the small leak was not a precursor to a full blown flood. I would be changing the connector pipe as preventative maintenance! JAinVA 4,619 #8 Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) It's is all copper! It is older than a lot of folks here. A minor drip in 35 years is no cause for alarm. Edited March 30, 2021 by JAinVA 1
