Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #1 Posted March 29, 2021 K have a bead on this critter A C141 Auto(hydro) with wheel weights, 44in deck, and snow blade. Thinkin it would fit the bill for a TLB setup, but I'm not the expert!
Pullstart 62,912 #2 Posted March 29, 2021 It’s even got good cast wheel weights! I’d say if the hydro will spin a tire when chained to something stupidly heavy in forward and reverse, and if it doesn’t smoke too bad, it would be a great candidate! 3

Pullstart 62,912 #7 Posted March 29, 2021 Are you capable of welding? If not, it would be great to become familiar with how easily a mule drive and deck come off these machines, then bring along a variation of 9/16” tools and pull each frame to transmission bolt (1 at a time) and inspect for any cracks in that plate. The loader subframe will help stiffen that area up, but there’s no reason to start with a crack. That is the one known weak point in most every Wheel Horse frame.
Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #8 Posted March 29, 2021 Ive done a little stick welding in the past and I do have a small mig machine, and have been known to grab an angle grinder occasionally. Inexperienced...but I aint skeered! So I wanna look over the trans mount plate and bolt holes, and that front plate the mule attaches to?

Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #11 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) Is the steering wheel correct? Not a deal breaker, but did't seem to match. Nevermind, looks like thats correct. Edited March 29, 2021 by Wheel Horse 3D

The mule drive and deck need to be removed to inspect the frame at the trans mounting point. The front plate is pretty dang stout

Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #14 Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) Really small (T)ractor (L)oader (B)ackhoe TLB. A Kubota sub compact is still too large to maneuver in some spaces Id like, so what better than Wheel Horse versuon of a TLB!
