Will this seat spring fit?

I would like to put this on my 1971 Raider 10. The Wheel Horse part# is 103145 superseded to 110920-03. The seat is all the way back but is still way to close to the steering wheel for me. Maybe this will give me a few more inches and ride better. On my 1972 Raider 14 the seat is all the way back and the fit is perfect. They are different seats. The Raider 10 is a "high back" and the 14 is not.

They will raise the seat up not back and you may have the steering wheel in your lap
