New Kid On The Block (convert from green and yellow)

Recommended Posts

TNT9848

Picked up a 1998 314-8 a couple of weeks ago.

The tractor came with a 42 “snowblower, a snow blade, wheel weights, SD48” deck, RD36” deck, 24”x48” steel roller and and all the manuals (operator, parts and engine shop manual).

I am selling my John Deere 110 Round Fender.

I am impressed with quality of the Wheel Horse equipment.

I am looking for a GOOD 42” rear discharge deck.  I need information about mulching and/or high lift blades for the 36” deck.

Let my apologize in advance for any Nooby silly questions.

Tim in SE Michigan

We have a wanted section under classified, post there for a deck.  The 42RD came in different versions, some with different baffles or none.  Some are reinforced around the edge.  Look for cracking near mounting brackets.  Finding solid decks for these old and often abused machines is getting harder all the time.

The only silly question around here is the one that was not asked.  Silly answers?  You bet - especially with this bunch.

Good luck and have fun.

I’ve never had a JD GT, but agree whole heartedly how awesome, hardy and simple WH brand is!

BOB ELLISON

Welcome to redsquare.

I to live in Michigan and I see wheelhorse tractors and parts for sale here all the time.

Watch Craigslist and you'll find one soon.

There's also sites on fbook that only cater to wheelhorse tractors and parts.

You came to the best place for these great tractors.
