matt monte 132 #1 Posted March 25, 2021 Dumb question, is there a spacer or washer that's supposed to be in place? I just removed nut. The one pulley was not turning with the nut tightened.
matt monte 132 #2 Posted March 25, 2021 And can I buy a knob or should I just weld a T to the end? I bought it this way

Jeff-C175 7,203 #4 Posted March 25, 2021 (edited) Yes, there are supposed to be spacers. One between the pulleys, and a shorter one between the outer pulley and the cover. You should be able to find the IPL in the manuals section that shows what you need. I saw @drjarvisphd121 is selling some NOS parts in the classifieds, and the mule drive knob was among them. I think he wanted $20 for one. You'll likely want a new roll pin also, 1/8" X 1" and that you can probably find at Lowes in the "Hillman" drawers. @matt monte Edited March 26, 2021 by Jeff-C175
Skwerl58 711 #5 Posted March 25, 2021 The mule drive knobs are available, I got one a couple of years ago. Check the vendors here in classified. I think there is a spacer on the shaft for the pulleys. Search for a mule drive schematic and you can then see where they go.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,104 #6 Posted March 25, 2021 1/2" long spacer part number 101757 is on the outside between the pulley and cover. 5/8" long spacer part number 101734 is between the pulleys. Spacer ID needs to slip over 3/4" shaft. I do not know how well Glen is. Anyone know? He was selling a knob kit Garry
