TC10284 111 #1 Posted March 24, 2021 (edited) Bought this 520-8 at an auction last Thursday for a very good price and had it delivered today. I couldn't pass it up. Included a 60" deck. All in great shape! Only see a dent in the front of the hood that looks like it can be straightened out pretty easily. I'm excited! JCM 9,202 #2 Posted March 24, 2021 Somewhat rare model 1 year only with supposedly only 225 built in 1990.
Pullstart 62,922 #3 Posted March 24, 2021 Congrats! The link is not working for me, but a 20 hp 8 speed is quite unicorn! I’ve seen about two or three on the day @Bow_Extreme and I grabbed Mrs. P’s Senior!
Skwerl58 704 #4 Posted March 24, 2021 Nice catch. Enjoy it. My 414-8 has all the power I need to till, plow, push and mow. One of the 20 hp has to be a beast to work with.

Exactly why I went to all the trouble of getting it from an auction 9hr away and having it hauled down here.

peter lena 8,647 #9 Posted March 24, 2021 TC10284, good looking pick up there, along with a baseline maintenance , basically checking over everything for function , total lubrication , and trans drain and refill , complete wiring verification and improvements . give it a marvel mystery oil rub down ,with a clean cloth , till dry, and feed that neglected paint . wait a few days and do it again , and watch it shine , the clean look will inspire you to get after the rest of it . keep us informed , good luck , pete ps, check agri fab for a seat , they also show the seat bolt down diagram . match up

seuadr 488 #11 Posted March 25, 2021 it is kind of funny, my 520H has a similar dent in the same spot. wonder if it was hitting the mule drive or something?

WheelhorseBob 1,549 #13 Posted March 28, 2021 Do as richmondred01 said. Just did my p216 with 614 hrs and it needed the de-carbon badly. Valves in mine weren’t bad and it really isn’t that bad of a job. I got all the gaskets from Boomer. Good like with it!
