KAA 1973 71 #1 Posted March 22, 2021 One of the pieces a friend left at my brothers shop, along with the JD further down the isle. I've seen the smaller trailers on here but not one this size. Snowmobile for scale? It's quite large. 5
Achto 27,605 #2 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) They did offer square body trailers. In the picture this one looks in pretty good shape. Don't know enough about them to know if it is actually , but some one will come along with the answer. Edited March 22, 2021 by Achto
ebinmaine 67,627 #3 Posted March 22, 2021 Agri-Fab did make a 17 CF trailer. Maybe Wheelhorse sold those?
The Tuul Crib 7,336 #4 Posted March 22, 2021 I believe this was made by Ohio steel for wheel horse at the time. I've got one just like it and they are stout!!
oliver2-44 9,761 #5 Posted March 22, 2021 @KAA 1973 I'm curious what is the Blue tractor on the far right side of your picture? It looks Ford Blue, but the shape doesn't seem to fit a Ford.
WHX?? 48,828 #6 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) Same one as I have ... just picked up a 10 cu ft one yesterday that is well built. Actual WH tag on it pinched on the hitch you can just see it. This one does not have the hinged tail gate tho just a slide plate. Edited March 22, 2021 by WHX24 2 1

Your photo may make the depth look deeper, can you provide that measurement? Compare it to the photo above by WHX24 where his looks more shallow. The wide tires were used on the largest trailers, others had wheelbarrow tires.

That's exactly, or extremely similar, to the body shape of my orange dumping trailer before I did the modification. That was not a Wheelhorse trailer originally but obviously made by the same company. Pretty sure that was Ohio Steel.

The one above had wide tire/rim like on tractors one side but the side shown just had a 'barrow tire PO cobbled on and was shot any way. Cheesy bearing all fell out. I am tractor rim heavy so going to get all new.

Along with 2 Simplicity Large tractors, I think they are like the 9020, 2 AC's and a few Bolens, and a Farmall Cub I tried to get the JD from his buddy a few years ago, he's the guy I bought the 312-8 from. NOW he tells my brother to "just get rid of the JD", it's a cool machine with hydraulic lift too, a little rough but would clean up nicely. The hydraulic pump is mounted on the side of the engine and belt driven.

It's a bit rusty here and there, but still serviceable. I haven't painted it red yet. This is the one that the original tire exploded on with enough force to put the (empty, stored behind the garage) trailer on it's side and made me change my shorts. Lane Ranger 10,968 #12 Posted March 22, 2021 I have one with the hinged gate! It holds a lot of clippings and debris when doing yard work!
WHX?? 48,828 #13 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) They do hold a bit of stuff ... the big one our servce wagon at plow day...holds alot of gas cans & tools. WHX?? 48,828 #14 Posted March 22, 2021 The one I just scored had bogus rims and tires so going to regular tractor rims and 16- 650 tires so need to make a tad longer axle. Looks like I am hoarding rims too! Not really but Dan @Achto might fly some white paint this weekend so just getting a few ready. 2

I got one with a 1 1/4" pipe tongue and last fall I up graded to a 1" axle. Got the 1" bushing to fit the 1 3/8" hubs from Miller Tire for $ 1.95 each. I bent the 3/4" axle three times going over rough areas. It still had the 3/4" axle in the picture. Edited March 24, 2021 by Lee1977
D_Mac 8,623 #19 Posted March 24, 2021 I picked up this trailer the other day. lol Pretty sure it IS NOT genuine Wheel Horse. Sure does look cool behind one though. What it lacks in practicality it makes up in coolness. Should I paint it or leave it alone? Picked up both these trailers last week.

Kind of almost seems like it's begging for some sort of screw bag weird color so like lime green... That little one with the wood rails is pretty awesome.. 3 minutes ago, squonk said: This little low rider trailer doesn't dump but I just like it's look. Is that a Wheelhorse trailer?
