Hi, Does anyone know much about this model drill press? It’s the Delta DP 400. Can’t seem to find much about them online. Trying to figure out a value and age338BE08D-EFED-4388-BEA9-402701981A19.jpeg.cdeede23d347f0f4ad61fd099172b687.jpegBE8B0D57-2C26-4F44-9E08-1BF4AB374618.jpeg.5a874be765ea89e037fdb3faa2e17f74.jpeg84556834-CACA-4BA1-AE9E-143FF2AFB22A.jpeg.0e645e4ce63530573412c766082c4c9e.jpeg03534515-11BA-4F00-9105-39742CE2D45F.jpeg.304d7a5e23a8c5691bb7e4dc49503e47.jpeg

We have a few members here that are collectors of vintage power tolls, perhaps one of them will come along. Do you have a Wheel Horse? We would like to see pictures of it and your interest in the :wh: line.

WHX??

Tom @Shynon Cas @formariz  any thoughts?

I'm thinking value 75 - 100 ... I might be tempted go 125 just cause it would look cool, says Milwaukee on it,  and it taking up bench space I don't have!

My bad :WRS:

That one was made anywhere from 1941 to 1952. Serial number badge will allow for a more precise date. Hard to find one with that motor badge which makes it a little puzzling since that motor badge is substantially older. Motor badge is from around 1935.?????

Good drill press. DP400 not a real common one. DP200 and 220 were a lot more common. It is nota high dollar machine price being rather subjective. I would say as it is less than $100.00.

:text-welcomeconfetti:  I’m a sucker for stuff that looks old and vintage!  Even better when it gets used!

If have a use for it I'd clean it up and use it rather then selling it. Prob get more value out of use then selling. :twocents-twocents:

Thank you everybody for the help. Just couldn’t find any others out there like it.  Good one to decorate the workshop with it sounds like.

It’s the Delta DP 400.

How do you know that particular one is the 400? Is there a tag on it?
