69DEZ 4 #4 Posted February 4, 2008 How do I get my Pic's to come up right away. Instead of having to click on a link? Mr. Incredible was my daughter's idea. I think it fits!!! weight? I don't know If I was to guess. 120 hanging off the back, 50-60 lbs rear weights. I just put some weight's on the front....maybe 20lbs each, keep in mind I'm just guessing. I just mounted a "new" seat from Northern Tool with arm rests....nice I'll post when I figure this %&^#@! %&$#@* out. :D

nylyon-(Admin) 7,264 #6 Posted February 4, 2008 I had started to add the pictures for you, but they were too big for the dialup guys. We try to size the pictures to 640x480 maximum.
69DEZ 4 #7 Posted February 4, 2008 Sorry Nylon. I really don't know what I'm doing. I read your post that said to go set up an account with photo bucket. I don't know how to change the size. Let's just say the LAST HOUR AND A HALF my daughter put her pj's on went to bed and the dog is hiding under the bed be causing of all the yelling. :(
nylyon-(Admin) 7,264 #8 Posted February 4, 2008 You're 90% there. Unfortunately I do not know Photobucket (yeah I know I push it). Does anyone know if photobucket has an option to resize your pictures? If not, in the links section towards the bottom is a link to a free photo sizer. I think that Terry MO uses that one as do many others.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,264 #9 Posted February 4, 2008 Go to your photobucket account, there should be an edit button, then a resize. Choose the Message Board size that should do it for ya. Sometimes my wife is the real techie in the house... :D
69DEZ 4 #10 Posted February 4, 2008 Well if I don't have to use it I would rather not. To much screwing around. I Feel like I'm on Yahoo WH groups. :P

nylyon-(Admin) 7,264 #15 Posted February 4, 2008 It's really nothing, glad to help. When you have the pictures resized with the edit --> resize let me know, getting them in here is just about 2 mouse clicks.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #16 Posted February 4, 2008 Nice looking tractor. The resize software Karl refers to is Irfanview. It works great for the PC user. Irfanview download
combatmp29r 27 #17 Posted February 4, 2008 Dear god I take a few hours off to play in the shop and I miss a Vertical shaft posting Just kidding. 69Dez its very nice to see that I'm not the only person with vertical shaft disease I'm sure glad its not curable. Very nice looking 69 V7. What size tires did you step up too on it? They look like they are around 20x10-8, but thats a guess from a picture and I didn't have Hawkeye look for me :(
combatmp29r 27 #18 Posted February 4, 2008 Hmmm 1 too many Os in to Hey I just realized you have an original 1969 6-7111 dozer blade. I've never seen one in person I have the manual for it, but all that I've ever seen or owned were the 70 and newer ones with the angle adjusting handle not the manual adjusting ones. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #19 Posted February 4, 2008 Joel, You're slipping. Not only did you miss a posting about a vertical shaft, but you let someone else get one. :D
combatmp29r 27 #20 Posted February 4, 2008 Now hold on Terry. I think everybody should own one. They seem to be growing in popularity Stephen, TT, Karl, and Eldon all have verticals Now no one else better bring any to Ardentsville though !!!! No seriousely I'm just glad to see one taken care of and used like the were designed to be. Not just parted out and scrapped because "oh thats a vertical they're junk." nylyon-(Admin) 7,264 #21 Posted February 4, 2008 Well.... I sold my Vertical RER. Only vert I have is on my push mower.
combatmp29r 27 #22 Posted February 4, 2008 Well it was a toro and not a horse so I understand, but you wer bitten by the bug for a little while :D
combatmp29r 27 #23 Posted February 4, 2008 OK guys just to set the record straight. I truly don't think verticals are any better than horizontals. If I did I wouldn't own any horizontals. They just happen to be my little oddity of a collection. Same as when everyone else in high school was building 350s or 351s for their rides I built a 572hp 305 chevy. I don't like to follow the pack much so the verts are my way of being different, but still a part of the whole. I do think they are underestimated alot though. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #24 Posted February 4, 2008 Joel, We just know who to go to when we need a question answered about the verticals. :D
combatmp29r 27 #25 Posted February 4, 2008 Well I guess thats true If i don't know though I have a wild card to pull. Terry the 4th The original vertical shaft guy. I know Nick and Short bus Greg know him. I sent him an Email to join here, but I guess he's busy cause I haven't heard back. Kinda odd actually. He's trying to get out of the Vertical buisness though. He's probably forgotten more about them than I know though. :D
