Looks like those brakes work very well.

Beautiful machine Mike. Well done.

I'll be looking forward to seeing this one in person sometime.

@Oldskool  what did you use for the brake drums? Make them your self or used something on hand?

I used Ford Explorer rotors and just cut off the original braking surface.

Sometimes just clicking a "LIKE" or a "Horses Head" just isn't enough!  "Absolutely awesome!",  doesn't seem to be quite enough either but it will have to do for now...

More videos please?  I'm sure we both want to know what it will pull!

Thanks. I'm really curious to see what it will do hooked onto something myself.

Awesome! Awesome machine! You did some serious craftsmanship there! I just read through the entire build. I figured you had to have a build page after I asked about the rims. I searched and found the page.

I’m so amazed with the work you put into this tractor! 👍

Even as I watch it doing what you'd hoped for, I'm still trying to figure out how you got the new hubs perfectly centered!

Kudos on the design and the build.

Mike have you gotten any further testing done on that turning brake setup?

Not yet. Tonight I'm going to hook onto something heavy to get my front wheels floating. I'm curious to see how well I can steer in that scenario

Don't expect perfection the first shot.

Making something do that kind of maneuver may take a bit of practice.

Anything that's heavy...ish enough to lift the front but then let you drag it?

I just tried pulling this off a trailer. With a trans mounted hitch the pull point is to low to the ground to pull the front wheels up. I just ended up making 2 pot holes.

The split brakes just suffered there first failure. The mounting bolts just tore threw one band. I knew I should have made a backer plate. The is on the original band. There will be one now.

Wow!  Take two people to operate but that should do a super fine job!  Try as I may, nothing I have will do what that will do no matter how many passes I make.

Hey guys I have been given a box of these flap wheels.
      5.25" x 1.5" with a 1" arbor hole.
I instantly thought great I can put one on my bench grinder.
      Nope!    Not that simple.
The arbor size is different, and it's to wide to fit inside the the guard.
I thought of removing the guard but would like to have it there.
I guess I could make an arbor adapter and a spacer for the guard, and a new tool rest, etc. More time involved then first thought.

Does anyone use these, and if so what do you have it on?

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I've had some stuff laying around for a while now. I've had some ideas kicking around my head for a while as well.
Well they met each other a few days ago.
This is going to be a camp buggy of sorts.
Like any of my other builds I would appreciate any input anyone want to donate.

The base is an 1982-88 Yamaha G1 golf cart.
