My fronts are out a bit more then stock as well. I may put some on, but I kinda like the radius. I will have to see how it steers and how recovery is from a turn

We might need power steering

I have one of those knobs somewhere in the garage. I've been looking all over the place for it.

Ya that's a good question on his radius. Someday we will see what its like

@OldWorkHorse it would be nice to have them both there.

When I started my build I had a 4in lift build into the rear of the frame and a 4in stretch but last minute I chopped the back off and went stock height and length.

Yooboyz don't need no power steerin'. Ya need bigger muscles.

FYI steering wheel knob won't work for you on a tractor with no power steering.

Mike keep the turn as sharp as possible.

May need to keep bumpstops in the plan.

The steering gear/fan shouldn't be the part that takes the brunt force of the wheel if it hits an obstruction like a rock.

I didnt think that gear should be hitting the frame. When al together I will do something about it.

I have had a build running thru my head. Ive been thinking of using a WH transaxle turned 90 degree with shafts attached to the hubs running out to a solid front and rear diff. Using it as sort of a transfer case. Engine would also be turned 90degree of a WH

I'd love to just get the 1257 done but I pick away at it couple hrs here and there. 10+ hr work days I got less time then I'd like to spend in the shop. Plus shop to big to fully heat so cold months it's far and few days in there now that it's warmer things start progessing faster.

I hear ya. I'm gone 12hrs  most days. I get nights and some of the weekends. Days off I'm in the shop by 4a.m. to get stuff done before everyone else wakes up

Everything is looking pretty good inside. No excessive wear, no chipped teeth. All the inner bearings look good and spin nicely.

Hey guys I have been given a box of these flap wheels.
      5.25" x 1.5" with a 1" arbor hole.
I instantly thought great I can put one on my bench grinder.
      Nope!    Not that simple.
The arbor size is different, and it's to wide to fit inside the the guard.
I thought of removing the guard but would like to have it there.
I guess I could make an arbor adapter and a spacer for the guard, and a new tool rest, etc. More time involved then first thought.

Does anyone use these, and if so what do you have it on?

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I've had some stuff laying around for a while now. I've had some ideas kicking around my head for a while as well.
Well they met each other a few days ago.
This is going to be a camp buggy of sorts.
Like any of my other builds I would appreciate any input anyone want to donate.

The base is an 1982-88 Yamaha G1 golf cart.
