Ed Kennell 38,028 #1 Posted March 14, 2021 Checked the trail cam today and got a surprise. Haven't seen this buck since Sept. 2020 and he showed up still sporting his horns. I hope he sheds them soon and starts growing a bigger set for next fall. Could be a shooter next year. A couple doe And a really old buck wait for it. 2 2 1
Pullstart 62,806 #2 Posted March 14, 2021 What’s the average time they shed, Ed? I thought it was a month or two ago...
Ed Kennell 38,028 #3 Posted March 14, 2021 I normally don't see antlers this time of year. Most shedding takes place in Jan and Feb. , although there are reports of some not shedding till April.

Ed Kennell 38,028 #6 Posted May 31, 2021 I replenished the mineral lick and hung a trail cam. The bucks should soon begin new antler growth and need the minerals. We shall see the visitors in a few days.
