Great story and great horse. Something definitely to be treasured that has deep meaning and value to all associated with it. Nothing like holding something that ones ancestors made , held, and continues to serve the purpose for which it was so thoughtfully made.

Some enterprising woodworker/metalworker on here should take that idea and revise the horse a bit to resemble a :wh: head.  Add some :wh: color and sell them at the show.  Yes, I'll accept royalties for the idea. :teasing-signhere:

And if that happens one should call it "The Lane" and also give him royalties. After all it started with him.
