JoeM 7,871 #1 Posted March 13, 2021 At least in PA it is tonight and we spring ahead tomorrow. I think we need to change the time and leave it alone. What do you think? 4
Blackhood Bill 721 #2 Posted March 13, 2021 (edited) @JoeM you’ve got my vote. There has been a study I seen or heard somewhere can’t remember, that it is showing it is harder on the body to keep changing the time. My thoughts are if you want to do something just get up earlier and do it and leave the time alone.. Edited March 13, 2021 by Blackhood Bill
Pullstart 62,803 #3 Posted March 13, 2021 I just think we should all have a chicken coop next to our bedroom windows. One rooster. They crow about an hour before daylight no matter the time. Perfect for getting up and having a coffee as the world awakes.

haydendavid380 759 #6 Posted March 13, 2021 I'm all about an extra hour a day light year round. The sun sets about 4pm here in winter time. I did see that there is supposed to be some legislation supposedly going through congress right now to get rid of the stupid fall back thing.

Mickwhitt 4,593 #13 Posted March 14, 2021 We also move the clocks around for no good reason. When I was young I was told it was so we wouldn't have to walk to school in the dark, or something like that. Now kids get taken into school by parent driven Limo. Then I was told it was so farmers could work during daylight, now tractors can plow plant and harvest by GPS so they don't even look where they are going anymore. We should leave the damn clocks alone, im sure I worked far more hours for free than I ever got back when night shifts hit the time change.

I agree totally and was told about the same thing when I was young. Although I was told it changed for the dairy farmers. Not going ago I read an article about this. It was changed prior to WW1. It was for energy savings. I also read were 1 State did a study on this and more energy was being used. Go figure. I say pick a time and leave it alone. What is the correct time? Yesterday? Today? Maybe just go back to using the ole sun dial.
