Gregor 4,846 #1 Posted March 9, 2021 I have seen discussions about the"grenade" gears in a Kohler. Many guys simply omit them during a rebuild. Does this include the small block (8 HP) as well? Yes most guys leave them out when a rebuild is done, if they are not timed exact they will cause damage. if left out most people don't notice any difference. 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
