Looking for recommendations for complete restoration of my Grandpa's 1965 Lawn Ranger. Its all there and ran when I put it away some 35 years ago. I'm in Northeast Indiana but will travel.

You mean for someone to do the work?

or just thoughts on how to go about it...?

And...how about some pictures!

Being a supporting member you should be able to post all the pictures you want not needing the pdf file .

love to see a nice big picture of your tractor and cart . I personally like original paint and patina as it’s only original once . Just my :twocents-02cents:

Was there a Lawn Ranger in 1965, I thought they were just numbers during that time.

I'm working on adding a few pictures. Based on the serial number and information I've researched, that's what I've found. I would like to restore it and get it running and looking new. I'm having trouble loading photos. There are some on the homepage of my account.

L-155 with electric start.  Great tractor.  I am still using all year round the L-107 (1967) my Father bought in May67. She is my chore tractor and is easy to get on and off.  Love her...

The Lawn Rangers are perfect for little ones. I rebuilt this one for my grandkids a few years ago. Good luck with yours!!

I am looking to have it done,

If you are searching for someone to do the restoration for you, there are a few guys in your area that are impeccable restores. I do my best with resto's but WI may be a bit of a travel for you, that I'm usually busier than a cat on a hot tin roof.

I hope some one closer will jump in with an offer for you.

dclarke's photo was very inspiring! I've heard of a gentleman in Plymouth Indiana that does excellent work but am not able to locate him, I'm not opposed to a Wisconsin road trip if you take appointments. I'm not in a big hurry I just want to get it started.

I’m only 2 hours from Angola and plan to be seeing @Achto in WI in July... there’s a chance I could do some haulin’ help if needed.  Dan does great work!

Dan, are you willing to take on the project for tractor and trailer. If so I can contact you direct. Thank you above for the generous offer to help. For some reason I am not able to upload photos. I have several.
