AMC RULES 37,132 #2 Posted March 6, 2021 Was thinking about it just last night. Will have to give our favorite B&B a call soon too. 2
953 nut 55,328 #3 Posted March 6, 2021 My reservations have been in since December. When the FDA approved the first vaccine I figured we were on our way to being one big happy family again. 1 1 1
Pullstart 62,922 #4 Posted March 6, 2021 So long as our wheels show up on time, it’ll be the Walmart parking lot on Wednesday evening, then to the fairgrounds Thursday morning! 3
JoeM 7,874 #5 Posted March 6, 2021 (edited) With the PA governor lifting restrictions might be plausible? Just wonder though, if the state has restrictions on the numbers and distancing will the club will have to submit a plan? Much like the ballparks and arenas. Might have to get an entry ticket? IDK Hope it is not to complicated. Has anyone talked to the Collectors Club to see how they may respond? As slow as and unpredictable Pa. is who knows how much these things will change? Current State Restrictions SOCIAL RESTRICTIONS Gathering limits in place: Indoor events: 15% of maximum occupancy, regardless of venue size and only if attendees and workers are able to comply with the 6-foot physical distancing requirement Outdoor events: 20% of maximum occupancy, regardless of venue size and only if attendees and workers are able to comply with the 6-foot physical distancing requirement Face coverings are required to be worn indoors and outdoors if you are away from your home I'm about 3 1/2 out so figure I can drive over for the day and then back if there are no rooms, but I had found that to be not much of an issue in the past. I think with Covid still affecting people’s traveling plans it’ll be easy to score a hotel...even close to the dates of the show I bet there are plenty of vacancies.

wallfish 17,015 #10 Posted March 6, 2021 My father offered to book the rooms a few days ago. Pretty sure he's on top of it so hopefully no cancellation is necessary.

rmaynard 15,519 #12 Posted March 8, 2021 I saw that post on FB too, but it's very vague. Who is the "fair board"? "Keep your eye out for updates" I think the first thing they need to do is update their website. It has not been updated since the show was canceled last year.

The WHCC website hasn't been worth a darn since they took it over from @Mike'sHorseBarn a couple years back.

MikesRJ ran the site. And you are right, it has not been worth a hoot. There are a lot of folks who don't use Facebook for obvious reasons, but do check on websites for up to date info, if it's there.

Like People! Seas of REGAL RED! Kevin, you've got your times mixed up. The ice cream social is Friday night, right after the board meeting, followed by the cruisin' to the oldies shortly there after. 5

Mike'sHorseBarn 2,999 #24 Posted March 8, 2021 @953 nut Yea that wasn't me that ran the site, but Ironically enough I do administrate 2 websites and would be happy to help them with keeping theirs up to date if they ever wanted someone else to take it over. 1
