Brockport Bill 1,660 #1 Posted March 5, 2021 I came across my 312-8 WH brochure from 1989 - including the pages about attachments - including snow blowers - so i am attaching photos - As a few month old newbie here on Forum, I was not entirely sure the various snow blowers WH produced and from what decades and for what model? I never had the blower but thought many times of getting one -- and the discussion came up on another board here on Red Square earlier yesterday about what to get to fit my 312-8 from 1989? I agree the 12 hp is likely under powered for a 2 stage so I was surprised to see from the brochure coding it appears the 2 stage not only was offered in 1989 but also for the 12 hp - and apparently with the manual lift - ouch!!! Certainly very different looking units -- of course I could be reading the brochure wrong so if anyone has other info would be great to know ???
R Scheer 502 #2 Posted March 5, 2021 I've got the 2 stage on my 312H, it does the job. The 16, or 20 hp would probably do the job faster, but for my size driveway it's not an issue. I can't imagine doing it with a manual lift though, I believe they're about 325 lbs. Certainly feels like it when I install it.

That is the Bervac (Made in Canada) for WH (came in 38-40"? and a 46" version) which is much lighter and requires less HP to run vs the later TORO 44" version that is more common and available, here it is on my 520H. Hope this helps clear that up. Edited March 5, 2021 by WVHillbilly520H
