ri702bill 8,350 #4 Posted March 3, 2021 Yup, I agree with all of you - but... on the plus side - bonus points for the 6 matching ag tires ,the nicely done stack and the original "suitcase" cutting deck..... on the not so plus side - wrong S/G guard, no hood stand supports, wrong steering wheel, 701 style straight shift lever, and the radiator cap style gas cap. Someone needs to document everything you just said because someday no one will remember. Quite possible that the builder didn't know, couldn't find out and possibly never even know. stevasaurus 22,765 #7 Posted March 3, 2021 Actually, the straight shifter was standard factory on the 1962 horses...702, 502, 552. The angled shifter came with the HY-2 when ordered and then became factory later that year because of the HY-2. I have seen that done before. I'm thinking those 4 bolts probably pull the wheels, not just the tires, right together but that either way, they would work. I think spaces are to spread the tread. They give a fake 4WD look and I've never liked that, but I gather that they can add some steering traction, but should be turned backwards!
