953 nut 55,321 #2 Posted February 24, 2021 The exhaust stack looks out of place but the rest looks original to me.

That was my thoughts but I wanted some confirmation that the ags could be ordered as is. It brings back some fond memories even though I knew nothing of Wheel Horses back then. Seems a bit odd that there's no deck, ags, and a fairly nice lawn.

I think that lack of interest in gardening and the ZTR kill a lot of interest in GTs.
71_Bronco 1,072 #6 Posted February 25, 2021 That rear hitch looks interesting. Doesn't look like a standard slot hitch, or the brinly style either.

The Ag tires were a factory option as seen in this brochure. 15 minutes ago, 71_Bronco said: That rear hitch looks interesting. Doesn't look like a standard slot hitch, or the brinly style either. That hitch is for towing a wagon or other tagalong equipment.

Like 953 stated there's the add on bracket for towing on there too which was used because of the deck lift parts using the typical hitch. Looks to be a 550, the shiny dot to the right of the steering shaft is the key start 3

rj35hunter 283 #11 Posted February 25, 2021 I see the Fairbanks recoil...that’s a 4 HP Kohler and the tractor is a 1960 400 with the wrong hood decal....the shiny spot by the steering wheel is a reflection from the sun on the shiny paint of the hood. It has the 1960 foot pedals and clutch pedal. 1

The Tuul Crib 7,336 #14 Posted February 25, 2021 I have to say something about that hat because my father used to wear one a lot like that. He had a straw one in the summertime! I believe they were called a fedora.

Also had a couple of straw hats that he used while out in the yard/fields.

But that recoil size looks awfully big compared to that gentleman's leg.
