DennisThornton 4,769 #2 Posted February 22, 2021 I've seen that or it's cousin. I really needed that when I put in the driveway! Would love to have it even now! Really nice!
Handy Don 12,233 #3 Posted February 22, 2021 (edited) YEAH, that's cookin' with gas! Three axis control on the blade, power steering, easy step up. The only thing missing from the "big guys" is canting the front wheels. But you'd need a LOT of driveway to keep that thing busy. Notice the trailer ball hitch to attach the blade carrier at the front. Clever! Edited February 22, 2021 by Handy Don

Handy Don 12,233 #5 Posted February 22, 2021 True. So it'd need tending what, maybe three times a year. Of course, with a gadget like that the "need" might be more like monthly . Course it could do well for snow duty, too (need a wider blade to push well outside the wheel track, though).
ebinmaine 67,567 #6 Posted February 22, 2021 Alright. Alright. Alright. That's just flippin neat! 2
DennisThornton 4,769 #7 Posted February 22, 2021 I'm surprised it doesn't have a wider blade. I'd love to see more of the drive train!
Pullstart 62,905 #8 Posted February 22, 2021 I wonder how much it weighs to cut so deep! From behind... it looks like a Cub being towed away

Handy Don 12,233 #12 Posted February 25, 2021 Hi, Something my son found. When we do a grader blade for the WH to maintain camp roads and trails, we'll probably look at a carbide tooth blade edge. https://www.dirtandgravel.psu.edu/sites/default/files/General Resources/Technical Bulletins/TB_Carbide-Tipped_Blade.pdf Given your intimate acquaintance with dirt/gravel roads, @WVHillbilly520H, I thought you might find this interesting. Best, Don I have 6-7' carbide section that (apparently) a WVDoH grader lost, near my parents place, barely scarred up, they must have forgotten to tighten the bolts up. If I think about it is snap an pic when I over there this weekend.

WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #21 Posted February 28, 2021 Since its my post I am going to veer off track a bit, @ebinmaine, @JCM and all the other Maineers seems I have caught you all holding out on us here... .
JCM 9,177 #22 Posted February 28, 2021 Those races are in Lincolnville,Me which is about a 3 1/2 to 4 hr ride north of us. They are north of Owls Head where the truck and tractor show is in July right on the coast of Maine. Have never been to those tractor ice races but back around 2010 there were oval dirt track lawnmower races 30 minutes from us which we enjoyed on certain Sundays. @WVHillbilly520H The dirt track was a lot more dangerous than watching those ice races. Thanks for that. 1

Wasn't going to help that day, it ruined about half the county, including state paved roads. 1
