seuadr 488 #1 Posted February 22, 2021 Hey all - relatively handy and looking at the instructions for matt's foot pedal mod. i picked one of these up a couple of years ago and honestly kind of forgot about it. Packing up for moving i came across it (and a bunch of other stuff!) and am thinking about getting this installed. those of you who have installed it - how long did it take? think an average mechanically inclined person could accomplish this in several hours? it seems really straight forward, which is why i assume that i'm missing something. JoeM 7,874 #4 Posted February 22, 2021 If you wanted to you could do the job in two steps. Put the self centering piece in place and leave the spring off. (tip for putting the bolts that hold the centering piece in place is to put paper towel across the socket and push bolts into the socket, that will hold the bolt in the socker as you go down inside the side frame.) Then you could put the pedal in and linkage later. 1
