I thought only the newer engines had an electric fuel cut off on the carb. If you are spitting oil out of the intake and exhaust - 1.Is the oil level over full?? 2. So have to get those fixed First off let me say its very good of your to try to get into the "Garden Tractor Hobby" as I have 2 boys close to you age, 1 really tries with these old tractors the other can recite specs about exotic supercars but can't point anything out to help me diagnose his mechanical issues, so with being said "we" are here to help you , but when you say cut wires on a carburetor of this vintage tractor it isn't helping us help you, try to be a bit more descriptive in your questions, add a much info you can like the numbers on the engine specifications decal if still there and readable, pictures ect. @Achto Dan is trying is best here to help you out "our" young friend. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
