The Tuul Crib 7,336 #1 Posted February 19, 2021 (edited) Working on the mower deck for my charger 10 and got to this point ready to put the seals in. I decided to make sure everything fits well before I put the seals in. Then I ran into this weird issue. On the bottom side of the hub where the blade goes the spindle cup only fits good One Direction better than the other but it's upside down! I even tried some filing still they fit perfectly backwards! funny thing is doesn't look like the shaft can be reversed because of the washer on one end! R. L. Addison 299 #5 Posted February 20, 2021 If you look closely at the first picture the reason comes to light. The driver (blade clutch or whatever) has been "mushroomed" (collapsed) by the shaft shoulders from use? impact wrench? overtightening? or whatever. This could be corrected a couple ways, but I tap them down, and use a good bolt (grade 8) bottomed in the threads and drive the spindle shaft out while holding the blade adapter in a vise. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
The Tuul Crib 7,336 #6 Posted February 20, 2021 These only go on one way and that's upside down tried it at both ends of the shaft the pulley works at the other end but this one likes to fit on backwards on either end of the shaft. The first picture is on backwards and it drops in place wanna flip it over in the correct position it doesn't go past the very top. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
