ebinmaine 67,310 #2 Posted February 19, 2021 I'm a woods dweller so I'll call in some plow dogs... @PeacemakerJack @WHX24 @Achto @pullstart
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #3 Posted February 19, 2021 Do you have a plow now and will it connect to the tractor's rear hitch? Garry
Pullstart 62,807 #4 Posted February 19, 2021 We love us some field plowing! How much ground are you looking to turn? Here’s a small thread started by a plow dog @PeacemakerJack and will cover good and bad times both. What do you need though? More weight than you’d ever think, a good set of Ag tires and the right soil moisture content will be your friend!

Seriously, there needs to be a rear hitch capable of attaching and lifting a plow. There should be a cable from the lift lever rocker shaft (part 19) going back to the lift. Lowell https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/ can fix you up with a cable if you need one and Lincoln https://a-ztractor.com/ can help with a hitch and plow. Also you may want tp place an ad here for what you need. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/classifieds/wanted/?do=form&d=
Achto 27,511 #6 Posted February 19, 2021 You will need a plow, a slot hitch with a Brinly adapter, or a Brinly hitch, the cable for the slot hitch, and weight. This would allow you to run a Brinly plow. If you happen to have a plow you will need the slot hitch, the cable for the slot hitch, and weight. 1

oliver2-44 9,708 #8 Posted February 19, 2021 Check that your tractor has the arm on the arm on the Rockshaft for the Rear Hitch (#19 in diagram posted above) Seems I've read some of the later B series did not have it.
