Well that's a aggressive reason.... anyone that owns 1 of these might wanna get that checked out lol... or not stick your arm into auger while it's running your call :dunno:

But ... isn't it covered in labels, saying to shut the engine off before stuffing hand into meat slicer??

Shoot. My 1974 BobCat snowblower is known to slip from full speed forward to full speed reverse for no good reason at the drop of a hat.. it also lacks a differential, or sheer pins, and the auger and impeller are made out of literal rebar..

 

Didn't ever see a safety recall on that disaster?B)

Safety use to come with common sense lol.... that's a rare commodity these days.

Interesting, my Mr 2 Cycle Toro has no throttle or clutch to the auger.  When the engine runs, the auger is turning.  Of course it is older, on the order of 5 to 7 years.
