OK, I removed the bandage this morning.      I was quite pleased with the results.    The wax paper peeled off with no problem.  There was one small lump where the JB had squeezed out from under the  rubber pressure pad.   This was easily sanded off.     I was surprised how flexible  the JB . I don't  think that will be a problem especially in this area where there is no flexing or stretching of the vinyl.   It may not work in the middle of a seat.    The rubber pad actually left it's pattern thru the wax paper into the epoxy.    The WD-40 really seemed to restore the life to the vinyl.

It might work where it is but certainly wouldn't where "flex" exists.

I've had issues with vinyl that can't come inside and I just don't have indoor storage for all of them.  This product was highly recommended here so I bought some.  Too early to comment but it has a big fan here and on Amazon.

Oh!  Might grab some of this too.
