Glad to hear the surgery went well, and your operations in the shop are making progress too!

Awesome Joe. I suffered through "Little train running around my back and butt on the right " syndrome. Had back surgery Spinal laminectomy in April 2019. Felt pretty good and walked outside to pick up sticks in the yard and everybody threw a fit! :bitch:Nice they let you get out and do a little.

Now my left side is acting up. No little train yet but discomfort everyday. I asked my back surgeon. "Since I had spurs on my right side crushing my spinal nerves, wouldn't it make sense that the same thing is happening on the left?" He just looked at me. Says we aren't going to do a thing until you can't walk again! :jaw: :angry-tappingfoot::violence-blades:

My wife watches me like a hawk.! I think see knows I can't be trusted.

I had the laminectomy 5 years ago and it worked pretty good until Uncle Arthur moved in and ate the discs areas. Volia....pinched nerves. Sometimes I could lay for a couple hours and it would fill better, sometimes a whole day, just awful electrical type shock fillings.

The surgery is something new in the last few years. They go in though the side and use hockey puck inserts between the vertebrae. That is after they cut out the old bad stuff. Walked three hours after they did it with a walker. A little numb but pinched nerve gone! The procedure is called an Oblique lumbar lateral interbody fusion Had to go into the big city to get r done though.

Just wanted to share might be a good option for somebody out there. (pretty good animation on the tube)

Got the transmixer back together, tested and letting r set over night to check for seeps. got 10w30 in it for now, Made a coupler out of hose and breeze bands, spun it up with a drill.

I paid a little tuition in the form of a brake shaft seaL.  I know a lot of you know this trick but l I did not tape the step and chaffed the new seal on the step edge. Just got lazy and cost me a new seal. :ranting:

Tape on second try.
