This guy is amazing. So many woodworking tricks.
I have no interest in building a 17' skiff, yet I couldn't stop watching.

Manual start home made Rotophase, i use an old washing machine motor connected via a Lovejoy to get the phase converter rolling over.

Growing up in RI on Narragansett Bay I used to watch guys bull rake for quahogs (co-hogs) in these work skiffs.  We called them quahog boats.  No one ever went to a gym for exercises.  The guys working these rakes were jacked.

My family has been going out to Fire Island for over 30 years. Always see those guys out in the Great South Bay clammin' away.

I sent it to my neighbor, you know, the crusty old engineer who has every tool and actually knows a little about everything....

He called me the next day. When I picked up he said, "You sonnuva *****..." and laughed. He watched about half of the ~43 episodes in one sitting. Just like me.
