Hello

Phil from Belgium , i have found a plow , that belongs to my Raider 10 from 1971 . Is there anybody familiair with this thing ? How to use it , how to lower the plow  . I never used it before , it was my gf’s WH .

Greetings PHil

Nice rig!  The lift arm on the left will control the plow’s up and down motion.  We don’t have plows that flip over like that typically but they are a great idea!

Nifty gadget. Nice score!

Connected using a slot hitch and a cable through a tube to the middle of the tractor so the lift lever can raise/lower it.

Lets you drive the tractor both ways across the garden but still always turn your furrows to the same side. Clever!

Also, I believe that should have a limited slip differential with the six speed transmission.  That’s a rock solid setup!

:text-welcomeconfetti:Interesting plow. Is there a mechanism to flip it at the end of the row as others have mentioned.

The oval in the image below highlights where the plow has a "tongue" that slide into a "slot" in the tractor-mounted hitch and is held there by a vertical pin through the slot and tongue.

The arrow points to the arm on the top of the hitch. A cable connects this arm to another arm in the middle of the tractor that is part of the lift mechanism.

Your communication, we can work around!  :handgestures-thumbupright:  Tractors, they speak for themselves :D

That lift arm mechanism will run any and all lift implements.  It pushes forward for snow blowers and other front mounted things, lifts straight up for mower decks, mid mount grader blades and snow plows, and pulls forward to lift the rear hitch as well.
