You just have to be careful putting them on a tractor without power steering because if your front tire gets caught on something and whips the steering wheel around that knob can really hurt if it catches your hand. We have em on the Moffett forklifts at work. All hydro systems. They work well enough but they really do get in the way. Ed Kennell 38,227 #8 Posted February 13, 2021 IMO, a spinner is a necessity on my outboard powered boat where there is very little force required and I often make lock to lock spins when docking, loading and pulling crab pots. Pollack Pete 2,273 #9 Posted February 13, 2021 A D-180 I bought a couple yrs ago had one on it.I've never used the knob.I left it on just because I thought it was a pretty cool looking skull.I have a Michigan 125B loader with articulating steering that has a spinner knob on it.I've never used that one either.Rather have both hands on the wheel. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Don't want to marr the steering wheel. 2. I like the "clean look." 3. I have two yellow and white tractors that I will be using for all my intense tractor work. I don't see a need for one on my 520H, which I intend to treat very gentle when I use it. By the way...I don't have them on my two yellow and white "workers" either. They are not the older IH Cubs ( my uncle had an IH Cub, 1960's), that I loved but unfortunately my aunt sold after his passing. I wish I had that ! One of mine is probably a late 90's hydro(Kohler twin) and the other is like a 2003 hydro(big box store, B & S twin). At least they both have bolt on rear wheels and are attachment capable...
