Hen's teeth right there.... Forgot to tell them about how you came across a choice one Dan!

Reminder fellas ... always remove them and put them in the cab when bouncing a horse down the road in an open trailer! :occasion-xmas:

Funny how such a simple thing brings so much joy!  Believe it or not, I’ve only ever used a cigarette lighter in a vehicle to check if it was hot enough to singe my fingerprints off... or try to light paper on fire!

I used one once... to defrost an iced up door lock... back when cars still had keys and key holes...

Worked great!

Funny story about frozen locks... I took my wife to an indoor shooting range in December one year.  Super cold out.  New truck (new to me).  We had a backpack full of pistols and ammo.  Both of us are licensed to concealed carry and this was early in our licensed days.  We left the range after our allotted time, still with plenty of ammo.  Frozen door locks and the fob battery died.  We ended up walking across a very busy street, to a Meier store, got a new fob battery and some lock de-icer.  Ammo bouncing all brassy in my pack.  Completely legal we were, but such a funny feeling carrying that much fire power through the store!  By the time we got back to the truck, the sun came out and the keys were able to unlock the doors!

Mayonnaise Randy !!  Holding that gorgeous lighter really makes your fingers look like you have been stabing them with and ice pick.  I suggest getting a manicure and some Vaseline Intensive Care immediately.  Winter can be the worst months for hands.  Might want to use some J B Weld on those finger nails also.  :occasion-snowman:  :occasion-xmas:   BTW...nice lighter.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

That was an awesome score, Jim. A pail full of tranny parts,a ranger hood, the lighter, some odds & ends, plus some misalliances 701 parts. Think Mr. Jackson covered the whole lot.:thumbs2:

I have an old Raider 12 with the cigarette lighter. I guess the first owner didn't smoke cause the lighter looks really good. It still works too.
