Help ID this blower please?

And yet another question!

 

The collars that the chute rides in...

 

Are they installed with the thick part UP or DOWN?

 

The IPLs are not that clear on this.  Looks like DOWN to me?  Seems logical, but how many times has logic failed us?

OK, last one for the night...

 

It occurred to me that the helper spring tab might take a lot of stress.  Has anyone ever had one break?

 

Might it be a good idea to add a couple gussetts as shown?  Or even just one maybe?

@Jeff-C175 , glad you are looking at @ Ed Kennells , similar hydro lift set up , that is definitely your way to go set up , also your bearing lubrication detailing is exactly what I have found on sealed bearings , you do not know what the " grease " is , but it will fail with  heat and loading .  the hi temp lucas will make it very reliable and quiet . your building detail will pay off in operational ease . that's what I am always looking for . stay at it , pete
