WHX??

Says Suburban on it ...that means it goes on a Suburban? ??  Only 'Burb you have is the Rat Rod.....never fit......I best just come and get it. :ychain: Hope you don't mind if I wait 'till after you resto it tho. :hide:

Sides I have plenty of '67s it would feel right at home on.

You were right about that poor 1267 she was on ... pretty rough putting it mildly.  Best you explain why it's next to a Simplecity tho! :D

@WHX24, I don't think that the modified HF engine on my Rat would be able to handle this broom.

After a resto I'll drop it off so you can use it to clean the kitchen for Cindy. :ROTF:

I like to bring a :wh: over to my Simplicity buddy's place from time to time. I like to remind him how much easier it is to work on a :wh: compared to his Simple City's.:D

Might check Granger or Mc Master Carr for bristle replacement possibilities.

That's one thought that I have for it. It would also be handy for getting the gravel out of the lawn and back into the driveway/ roadside in the spring, I hope.

There’s a dude down the road who spends a day or two every spring with a shop vac along the edge of his driveway.

I did a job for a guy, and that's what he used his sweeper for, it seemed to work well.  His sweeper was on a Grasshopper, but that's neither here nor there.

Keep it away from Jim. He'll either get is arm stuck in it trying to get that UEI meter out after he get the leads all tangled up or his shoelaces will get caught! :helmet:

The town of Stanton, Michigan has one of those green tractors with a brush.  I've seen it take care of 1.5" of slushy snow on the sidewalk without any problems.

Not a lot of help, but it looks like that u-joint in the drive is crooked--broken at the main frame end? May be weldable but if hopeless, PM me with closeup pics--I might have a usable replacement.

Thanks, good eye on that. The u-joint is not on the shaft all of the way in the pic. I started tearing things apart and then remembered that I should get some pics.:)

YW. I've worked with single u-joint drive lines both with and without a spline. In the "without" case, it's critical to make sure the yoke pivots are precisely at the intersection of the axes of the two shafts before tightening the setscrews. A misalignment may be why the joint here disconnected from the jackshaft.

Looks like a fun project!

I’d like to see Uncle Jim get something else stuck, keep it unmanned in 3rd gear wide open again when he pushes it out!  Maybe the brush would clean him up a bit!
