953 nut 55,321 #5 Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) We have a forecast of one to two inches of snow overnight but the daytime temperature this afternoon was 42 and forecast to be 45 Sunday so probably no seat time for me from this one. Guess I could go out and plow the snow off the lawn! Edited February 6, 2021 by 953 nut 1

Tractorhead 9,064 #7 Posted February 7, 2021 Actual we have sometimes a Weatherphenomen, that shall be unique in the World. We had „Föhn“, that be a warm Airstream brought from Africa to us over the Alps. Actual 45*F and sunny. - no Playtime..😢 For the North and middle of Germany forecast tell‘s few day’s ago about „dangerous deeep Snow“ The forecast tells yesterday, there will be tonight a katastrophic mass of Snow with extremest depth ... In the news i heared and see just about of 10-20cm depth 😂 - hey, somebody should tell the „extreme“ New’s Meterologist’s - Gentlemen, it‘s only Winter. I hope the föhn will collapse soon and the Snow will come down to us in South. I just know my Plow Rig is standstill and no Seattime since a Week... sadly.

WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #10 Posted February 7, 2021 My biggest condundrum is the ground is super soft, blower or blade I'm tearing it all up today, the snow is basically the same consistency as last week so the blower may be coming off in favor of the blade this round ...

953 nut 55,321 #13 Posted February 7, 2021 Didn't get any seat time this morning, most of what fell didn't accumulate on the driveway but I did have to sweep some snow off the satellite dish for the internet so I could get on RedSquare. 2
WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #14 Posted February 7, 2021 Well my game plan is try the blower again since it is already hitched up, but if it starts clogging the chute soon after starting, back to the barn unhitching the blower and hitching up the blade to finish up the day.

(already have over an inch) We don't get much at all ( maybe an inch every 2-3 years ) down near Charlotte NC, but if we did, with those temps, I MIGHT push it off the drive. I can't deal with it if I have to work in it ! Edited February 7, 2021 by Horse Newbie

WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #25 Posted February 7, 2021 Just finished up... Look at my plow banks black and red/brown/green, only if the ground was frozen, lots of my "asphalt millings" and other gravels in the grass now and lots of grass/sod moved 10' or more , why I prefer a blower when conditions are right, ... I will add the videos to my other red tractor thread. 2
