Chestnut 315 #1 Posted February 3, 2021 Back in early December we got some heavy wet snow and I dug up my MIL's lawn and the little ramp to the garden shed with the 520H. I'm still looking for wheel weights and haven't filled the tires, but I did get a start on hanging weight off the rear axle. One more short time out and the PO's weight system failed. Concrete poured into a steel can and bolted to the trailer tongue is now flopping around. The can, even with some reinforcement he added to the base, isn't rigid enough. I haven't taken it off yet, but I will. I need to connect my two new brackets and run a support down to the trailer tongue. There are more weight plates I can add. 1

I think I only have about 40 pounds a side, which will only replace the concrete block I'll be taking off. I have about 300 pounds of those old iron weight plates in the box on my other tractor. I'll probably start with about 100 pounds each side and if I need more I'll just add it. 1

I thought about using the long bar crossways but I can't dead lift so much any more. Easier to stack 25 pounds at a time (or less)
