Jeff-C175 7,202 #26 Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) No Kamiks in stock in my size on Amazon until March 3rd. The Sperry duck boot was pretty highly rated so I ordered a pair of those. Not calf length but we generally don't get that kind of snow and I do have high top rubber boots to pull on over if needed. Funny how we went from plow shoes to people shoes, isn't it? [sorry, didn't notice Eric said the dame samn thing earlier!] Edited February 2, 2021 by Jeff-C175 1

I’m a shorts and boots guy in the summer. Or flip flops. Pretty much not much changes in the winter, but my shorts get longer. I'm sorry, but long jeans, steel toe boots, and a t-shirt are the only acceptable clothing, no matter what the weather is. A hoodie and/or coat may be added for inclement weather or temps below freezing. 1

They leave small ruts but it's better than finding half of your driveway in your yard when the snow melts. Also keeps the yard from getting torn up Edited February 3, 2021 by squonk

I find that those wide flat (rolled front/back edges) of the newer factory style (Hillbilly made) skids "float" more than they "dig" in my experiences but only experimentation will answer those mysteries, BTW the new blade for the eMax has the "puck ATV" style on it. I had the skids pushed up on the the weekend we had ice in the paved driveway before the eMax attachments showed up. Am I correct in assuming that most of the driveway stayed in the driveway?
ebinmaine 67,691 #44 Posted February 6, 2021 @squonk Ok thanks Mike. Trina dug out the 60+" plow gifted to us by @wallfish. It's leaning out back melting the snow off so I can scrape it, and for her to toss some paint on the front surface. We'll see how the Cinnamon Horse C160 handles it.
