Yup! I checked on it last night and it was almost there! There's two inserts in there, one had the acetone brushed over, and I think the straight off the printer looks better, so I sent ya both! Now ya got a spare!

How were the original plates attached?

Screws, contact cement?

@Wheel Horse 3D

Just fetched the box from the mail box!  They look great!  I agree that the one without the acetone wash looks better.  more 'contrast' maybe? so that the relief stands out more?

I think I'm not going to paint both, maybe just a flat clear coat or a matte black on the one without the acetone and see how that looks just black.

I'll paint the one with the acetone wash in the same scheme as the hood ornament and see how that looks.  I need some smaller brushes now!

Are there other "red" options available for you?

Does the color change much during the process?  Or does it pretty much stay the same?

:text-offtopic:The B17 and Corsair came out feelin really nice!

Even though i printed in thicker layers, the added infill(from 20 to 75 percent) gave it heft and feels like a wood model now rather than a plastic model all qith about the same print time.. Glad that one print failed lol!

I dunno if Bob is listening in here, but if so thanks! It takes a while to get the full painted ornaments done, but Ive been told its worth the wait! I DO take my time and insist on things being right even if I have to start from scratch! And you cant rush that enamel paint!

Been thinking ahead to Big Show, and while one of the points of 3d printing is its on demand, and ya dont have to have stock per se, what all should I take to Big Show?

Quantities?

Ill have to start printing now, and do items whenever the printer isnt busy.

I've not been to the Big show so I can't really answer...

I'm sure a good variety of the hood ornaments would be a good seller.

I'll attest to that.  You did a nice job on mine! :text-bravo: I'm not steady enough with a brush that small, on a piece that size, to do a decent job.

Thanks everyone for keeping me busy and even some really fun custom stuff! Looking at the overall, were about halfway to a new, larger format printer!
