Mine is a Bambu x1 carbon with 4 color AMS.

I ran this printer for almost 5000 hours befor replacing the extruder gear. Only other thing I replaced was one nozzle and the short filament sections in the AMS which get worn due to the tight bends in there.

Printing in this machine has just simply been hassle free.

It runs pretty much flawlessly with stock settings and most filaments.

Reviews of the P1P and A1 put them pretty close as to performance, but I can only speak confidently as to the X1C.

Previously I ran ender 3 and ender3 max machines, but the speed, consistency, and hassle free nature of the x1c has rendered them obsolete for my purposes.

Thanks.

New site is well on it's way! I haven't updated the links in the vendor section yet, and still need to get the dashes uploaded, but most of the favorites are already up in the online store.

Wheelhorse items along with stuff for other tractors are in "THE TRACTOR STABLE" section.

I'm sure some of our electrician folks have seen a few of these broken or shattered. We came up with an improved heavier version and have them up and running at the power plant!

Gettin hard to find these for systems originally installed almost 30 years ago!

1858 Remington! Been working in this off and on for 3 years! Finally have it working properly.

Cylinder spins, hammer spring and trigger working good, ram lever works well.

Working on a composite approach with the D dashes, just finishing up a lower dash plate that uses high temp as its base, a medium temp with a more matte and smoother finish as the top layer, and finally high temp white for the text etc.

The finish still isn't perfect, but the matte lower temp looks much better! Compared to this

And Randy @rjg854 has a 1:1 Thompson!

We've done a Webley(not our design, but we purchased the files)

And the Martini Henry we did for the same client

I wouldnt reccomend "shooting" any if 'em lol

You got any comments about the Bambu printers as a first printer?

Another new printer to watch is the Creality K2 with multifilament...basically an unabashed copy of the Bambu X1C with a larger print bed.

Creality is a big name, and if they pull this off well,   it will be the largest format multicolor in that class and less than the x1c with AMS. It is also expandable to 16 colors like the Bambu, for a few hundred less
